I am so thankful to be a part of Beat-The-Block (https://www.deviantart.com/beat-the-block) right now, because man - I was doing so well for a while there, being able to push out art - but this last week or so, has just been really, really difficult. Beat The Block is a new group that I have become a Co-Founder for, and It's really awesome! The group is aimed at helping people overcome that very pesky art/writers block! We put up a Journal every monday with a prompt for artists and writers to interpret however they wish, and we hope to soon be able to turn the prompts into mini contests, which is really awesome :) We also have a Recomend a Friend journal every week on Wednesday and are consistantly comming up with new ideas to help our group improve and grow. Our group is pretty small right now, but we're all very supportive of each other and really do want to help fellow artists improve

Hello all :) Been doing a surprising amount of art lately, and I'm actually really proud of myself. I'm trying REALLY hard to not focus on the things in my drawing that I don't like, and focuse more on the things I am doing well. Trying to get out of the habbit of overthinking, and stressing myself out... Art is something I enjoy, and it's something that is supposed to be fun. I've spent so long trying to be perfect, trying to get everything done 100% right on the first go and really bringing myself down because of it.
